Lincoln is offering a Jump Start Course for prospective students to learn basics on the general process of law and legal education.
This course serves as an introduction to legal processes and concepts such as legal reasoning, the case method, and techniques used by the courts in resolving cases.
Students are given a preview of how case law and statutes are analyzed. The course also provides students with an opportunity to take a practice examination, practice briefing cases, and receive individual feedback on their writing and analyses in preparation for the first-year substantive courses.
Course runs for five weeks – Tuesdays from 6:40 to 9:30pm; January 31 – February 28.
